Position Overview

As a key Savage Team Member, the Data & Integrations Engineer will provide integration and data engineering expertise supporting a wide range of business segments and data domains. This role focuses on driving innovation and efficiency across the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain robust application integrations and data pipelines
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and meet objectives
  • Act as a team lead coordinating projects from conception to completion
  • Continuously develop your skills and foster a growth mindset

Requirements

A BA/BS degree in a technology discipline or equivalent experience is required. The ideal candidate should have strong Python and T-SQL skills with at least 5 years of experience in building and maintaining quality data pipelines. A proactive learner with excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a passion for sharing knowledge is preferred.

Technical Stack & Preferred Skills

Experience with AWS, S3, Iceberg, Apache Airflow, DBT, GitHub, Snowflake, MuleSoft, n8n, and Power BI is required. Familiarity with cloud services (Git, AWS, Azure, Airflow, DBT, Snowflake, Iceberg, Glue, Athena, SNS, SQS), AI/ML frameworks, and various data types & flows is an advantage. Team leadership experience and prior exposure to logistics, energy, agriculture, finance, or safety domains is a plus.
