Job Description
Role Purpose
To monitor tasks and activities to ensure that SANS Cybersecurity and Data Protection Strategy Programs are run to completion, by combining project management and by managing all on-going projects from project initiation through to execution, reporting and closure activities, and provide advice on technical, compliance and controls that need to be enhanced or deployed within the set KPIs, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures as well as applicable regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage cybersecurity and data protection projects from initiation to closure.
- Ensure programs align with SANS strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Provide advice on technical, compliance, and control enhancements.
- Monitor project progress against KPIs, budgets, and policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management within a cybersecurity context.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
