About SAS Administration Intern

What You’ll Do

The SAS Administration and Operations team is responsible for the installation, configuration, and ongoing operation of SAS platforms. You will:

  • Install, configure, and administer SAS platforms and components.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and proactively address issues.
  • Support upgrades, patches, and migrations across environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and operational issues.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting and workflow tools.
  • Collaborate with project and delivery managers as well as technical teams.

Required Qualifications

You must be enrolled in an accredited college program in a related field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or Data Analytics. Foundational knowledge of Linux/UNIX, cloud infrastructure, and scripting languages is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional skills include familiarity with SAS software, exposure to major cloud providers, basic IT operational concepts, and effective communication for collaborative work.

Location & Work Arrangement

This internship is based at the SAS Sydney Office with a hybrid work model (2-3 days in the office).
