About The Job
The Public sales team is seeking an Account Executive to help customers and prospects shape their data and AI strategies and modernize solutions. This role involves understanding business challenges, presenting SAS solutions, and building relationships with key accounts in the Public market (Ministries). The focus is on driving growth by leveraging and creating new relationships. This position offers an experienced sales professional the opportunity to manage strategic enterprise accounts. You will grow alongside a supportive team, learn from industry leaders, and make a lasting impact.
This role is based in Paris, France, with a hybrid working model and requires travel as per business needs.
Responsibilities
- Achieve total software revenue targets and management business objectives.
- Engage with targeted customers and prospects to position SAS solutions, managing deals typically between $100K to $1M+.
- Deliver strategies to modernize customer engagement for strategic clients.
- Build and maintain relationships, influencing long-term strategies and engaging with C-level decision-makers.
- Provide industry, business, and marketing technology knowledge to close deals in your assigned territory.
- Support lead-generation activities, integrate strategies into account plans, and qualify based on business and technical fit.
- Develop opportunities and create compelling proposals to communicate the value of SAS solutions, collaborating with internal teams.
- Support the closure of complex sales and assist with pricing and licensing negotiations.

Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience selling solutions and services to business owners and IT stakeholders.
- Experience selling to Public accounts, navigating Public tenders, and working with partners is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in account mapping and navigating complex ecosystems.
- Ability to analyze territory dynamics, develop a sales plan, communicate technical and business concepts, and relate them to SAS applications and user needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of complex SaaS solution sales, ideally with a focus on data analytics, AI, Generative AI. Awareness of SAS solutions and services is preferred.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered.
