Route Controller - SAS Cargo
SAS Cargo is seeking a maternity cover Route Controller for an 18-month period to join our fantastic Space Control team, currently composed of 10 skilled and experienced Route Controllers.
About Space Control & Traffic Optimization
The Space Control & Traffic Optimization function, in collaboration with our commercial departments, is responsible for managing and optimizing SAS Cargo's capacity and freight on all cargo and mail-carrying aircraft and trucks. The focus is on ensuring optimal utilization of capacity and maintaining a truck network that consistently reflects our flight network and schedules.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Daily operational management of SK aircraft and truck operations.
- Optimizing capacity on all cargo/mail-carrying aircraft and trucks.
- Meeting departmental overall goals, identifying, implementing, optimizing, and following up on activities.
- Preparing decision-making proposals, initiating, and driving operational activities to enhance SAS Cargo's contribution to SAS Airlines.
- Optimizing, developing, and documenting internal processes and procedures to create value across the entire transport chain.
- Ensuring an optimal and economical truck setup.
- Fostering good and productive collaboration with other SAS Cargo departments.
- Ensuring continuous compliance with all safety and authority regulations.
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate has a freight forwarding background with a focus on trucking and/or aviation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in air freight.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Danish.

Compensation:
Salary according to HK, salary grade 5. The Space Control team works shifts, Monday-Sunday.
