Overview

The Food Service Supervisor role at Sarocemas involves overseeing food preparation, ensuring quality control, and managing a small team in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Experience & Work Setting

Experience: 1 to less than 2 yearsWork Setting: Fast food outlet, concession, or restaurant. Environment: Noisy, odours, wet/damp, hot, outdoors.

Responsibilities

  • Establish work schedules and methods to meet them
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff preparing and portioning food
  • Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies requirements
  • Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customer complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Supervise tray assembly and delivery of food trolleys
  • Oversee staff of 5-10 people
