Mid-Level Engineering Role
This mid-level engineering position offers diverse and challenging opportunities in structural engineering, providing an excellent platform for career advancement. You will work within a team of structural engineers, interface with other disciplines, and mentor junior team members. Engage in engineering projects for new nuclear facilities and upgrades/modifications to existing plants.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of materials, structural analysis, structural steel design, and reinforced concrete design.
- Prepare and review design calculations, develop specifications, and support drawing development.
- Perform structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, and foundations using state-of-the-art computer tools.
- Travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant sites for construction coordination and field verification may be required.
Work Arrangement
This position operates on a hybrid work schedule, requiring three days per week in the office.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:
- BS degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 3+ years of experience in structural design and analysis, including AISC steel and ACI concrete designs.
- Proficiency with structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, ANSYS).
- Familiarity with design codes and standards (e.g., ASCE 7, AISC, ACI).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Valued, But Not Required:
- MSCE degree.
- Experience with power plant or industrial structure design and analysis.
- On-site construction support experience.
- PE or SE license.

Compensation Range
$74,353 - $113,595 annually.
