About the Role: Technical Product Manager Banking Core Integration
As a Technical Product Manager for Core Bank Integration, you will own the strategy and execution for connecting to banks and payment networks. Your work enables banks to activate Sardine for account opening, funding, and payments without standalone integration projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full product lifecycle from discovery to live pilots.
- Design scalable integration approaches supporting multiple bank cores.
- Lead API mapping and integration design for systems like Fiserv Communicator Open and Jack Henry.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Ops, BD, and Sales.
- Maintain clear API specifications, integration playbooks, and runbooks.
- Monitor pilot performance and iterate for continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of product management experience in fintech, infrastructure, or platform teams.
- 3+ years leading integrations with banks, payment processors, or financial systems.
- Familiarity with payment rails (ACH, RTP, wires) and account opening flows.
- Strong technical fluency with APIs, system architecture, and backend event flows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits
Base pay range of $180,000 - $220,000 USD / $220,000 - $275,000 CAD plus equity, attractive benefits, and additional perks including a MacBook Pro, home office stipend, monthly meal and social meet-up stipends, and annual stipends for health, wellness, and learning.
