About the Role: Strategic Account Manager
Sardine is experiencing rapid customer acquisition and is dedicated to an ambitious product roadmap. We are building a world-class customer success team to support our expanding suite of fraud, payments, and compliance products. This Strategic Account Manager role blends account management with solution architecture. You will be responsible for a portfolio of customers, acting as their key stakeholder within Sardine to maximize the value derived from our products and services. Daily collaboration with Sardine's risk analytics, data science, integrations, and product teams will be crucial to addressing customer needs in risk, fraud, compliance, and payments.
What You'll Be Doing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing day-to-day needs and long-term strategic opportunities to maximize their ROI with Sardine.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Sardine's product, technology, and strategy, effectively communicating these to customers.
- Translate complex product and technology challenges into clear, actionable solutions, managing the solution process both internally and externally.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on best practices in fraud and compliance.
- Establish, monitor, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to clients.
- Contribute strategic analysis and critical thinking to long-term expansion plans.
- Collaborate with Sardine's risk analytics teams to proactively identify and resolve new fraud typologies, communicating findings to customers.
What You'll Need
- 7+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Risk Management, or Solutions Architecture within a B2B SaaS environment, including an understanding of API integration.
- Domain expertise in compliance, fintech, or AML/KYC.
- Exceptional analytical skills, excelling at data analysis and insight generation.
- Proficiency in using business intelligence tools.
- Ability to translate complex strategies into actionable processes and outcomes.
- Strong relationship-building and collaborative skills.
- Excellent presentation skills for both virtual and in-person meetings with diverse stakeholders.
- Previous customer-facing experience, ideally with technical products.
- Outstanding project management capabilities, synthesizing inputs and balancing multiple stakeholder needs.
- A continuous improvement mindset for optimizing processes.
- A passion for enhancing customer efficiency.
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a competitive base pay range of $150,000 - $180,000, plus bonus and equity with significant upside potential, along with attractive benefits. Compensation is dependent on factors like location, qualifications, work history, and interview performance.
