We seek talented, self-motivated individuals who demonstrate extreme ownership and possess a high growth orientation. Our focus is on performance and impact, not just hours logged. We believe in providing flexibility so you don't have to miss important personal moments for an arbitrary work schedule.

Location

This Integration Engineer position is Remote, available across the United States or Canada. You are empowered to work from home, the beach, a mountain retreat, a cafe, or anywhere you find your productive zone. We are a globally distributed, remote-first company.

About the Role

We are actively seeking an Integration Engineer to spearhead client onboarding for Sardine's fraud and compliance products. In this pivotal role, you will manage end-to-end integrations, skillfully translating complex technical requirements into practical, scalable solutions, and ensuring seamless, successful deployments for our clients. This is a hands-on position requiring close collaboration with both clients and internal teams, making it ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys tackling intricate problems with innovative solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage implementation and integration efforts for Sardine's fraud and compliance products.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, offering comprehensive, end-to-end support throughout their onboarding journey to ensure their success.
  • Take ownership of API and SDK documentation, integration guides, and all relevant support documents.
  • Analyze clients' technical and functional requirements, designing optimal solutions based on a deep understanding of Sardine's system and product capabilities.
  • Oversee implementation projects, which includes monitoring project quality, managing timelines, mitigating risks, and driving deliverables to completion.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customers' business challenges, technical needs, and success criteria to effectively provide solutions utilizing Sardine's technology.
  • Act as the 'eyes and ears on the ground,' providing valuable product feedback to internal stakeholders.

What You'll Need

  • 4+ years of experience in technical roles such as Integrations Engineer, QA Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, or Systems Analyst, with demonstrated strong execution skills.
  • Expertise in integration and automation, coupled with experience collaborating with multiple internal and external technical teams.
  • 2+ years of B2B SaaS experience within relevant domains like payment, fraud, risk, or compliance.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently, consistently driving deliverables to completion.
  • Proficiency with basic SQL querying and JSON payload analysis.
  • Experience with API specifications like OpenAPI, web development, and writing scripts for internal tools (e.g., bash scripting, Python, SQL, Ruby, Golang, Postman).

Benefits We Offer

We provide generous compensation in both cash and equity, with early exercise for all options, including pre-vested. Enjoy our remote-first culture with the flexibility to work from anywhere, flexible paid time off, and a restorative year-end break. Comprehensive health insurance, dental, and vision coverage are provided for employees and dependents in the US and Canada. We offer a 4% matching 401k / RRSP (US and Canada specific), a MacBook Pro delivered to your door, and a one-time stipend to set up your ideal home office (desk, chair, screen, etc.). Additionally, you'll receive a monthly meal stipend, a monthly social meet-up stipend, an annual health and wellness stipend, and an annual learning stipend.
