Registered Nurse
Saratoga Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. This role focuses on providing high-quality, age-specific patient care within a supportive and community-focused environment.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse at Saratoga Hospital, you will be responsible for comprehensive patient assessments, including physical and psycho-social status, and integrating this data into care planning. You will utilize your assessment and intervention skills to provide therapeutic care, manage pain, administer medications, and ensure patient safety. Effective communication with patients, colleagues, and providers is essential, employing age-specific and culturally sensitive techniques. You will document care concisely and accurately using SBAR for reporting.
This role requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to support clinical decision-making and utilize evidence-based practice. You will foster caring relationships with patients and families, making them the center of the care process, advocating for their needs, and protecting their autonomy and dignity. Efficient time management and prioritization are key to delivering organized care and adapting to changing patient conditions.
Leadership skills are valuable, including the ability to delegate care appropriately and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. You will also play a vital role in patient education, teaching health promotion, disease prevention, and medication management, adapting teaching methods to individual needs and assessing learning barriers.
What You Bring
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Candidates with AAS in Nursing who will complete BSN within five years of date of hire will be considered.
