About the Role

The Vice President of Web Capabilities and Governance will lead a team of digital business product managers, guiding them to articulate and build transformative customer and partner experiences across SAP's owned and operated websites. This role involves establishing the team as a trusted partner through standards and governance, ensuring a coherent digital journey for customers and partners across various internal website domains. A key responsibility includes leading the content management system (AEM) move to the cloud with a transformational mindset, aiming to scale the marketing organization's impact without proportional increases in effort or investment. The goal is to increase marketing-sourced opportunities originating from SAP's marketing websites through the delivery of robust web capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of digital business product managers.
  • Own the web business roadmap and make business decisions for quarterly planning with IT partners.
  • Deliver business strategy, including requirements, for the AEM Cloud implementation (publishing, tagging, headless content, merchandising, forms, authentication, 3rd party integrations).
  • Ensure the SAP digital ecosystem is governed by creating, maintaining, and enforcing website standards for all teams.
  • Partner with R&D and AI teams to define internal AI web capabilities for transforming DX operations.
  • Establish and maintain operating rhythms, standards, and processes for building and delivering capabilities.
  • Enable global marketing teams on new capabilities through effective change management.
  • Hold the team accountable for experience quality, conversion performance, and business impact.
  • Serve as a leadership interface for digital capabilities with Digital Growth Marketing, Experience Design, Experience Management, and Corporate Process and Technology leaders.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience with content management system (CMS) driven websites.
  • Experience with 2 or more CMS migrations.
  • 5+ years of people management experience in a digital environment.
  • 5+ years in a product management role.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Product management experience in content management systems.
  • CMS implementations at other B2B companies.
  • CMS implementations at media companies.
  • Experience with cloud transformation projects.
  • Previous experience with Adobe products, particularly AEM.
