What You'll Do

  • Lead the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for RISE Private Cloud Customer Data Center (CDC) deployment option in your respective region.
  • Support sales teams throughout the entire cycle of a RISE with SAP Cloud deal.
  • Understand customers’ business transformation requirements to create a roadmap for their journey to the Cloud through Cloud ERP RISE solution.
  • Engage regularly with Global Strategic Technology partners and the broader SAP partner ecosystem to construct optimal solutions and business outcomes for customers.
  • Coordinate across multiple SAP internal teams (Product, Architects, commercial teams) to deliver RISE PE CDC to customers across industry segments.
  • Empower Front Office colleagues and educate customers on the CDC deployment model, articulating SAP's competitive advantage.
  • Generate pipeline and convert opportunities to grow the RISE PE CDC business in your region.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s / master’s degree in engineering or computer science; MBA is a plus.
  • 15+ years of customer facing experience.
  • Good knowledge of both SAP software portfolio and the underlying infrastructure for cloud deployment.
  • Good understanding of S/4HANA Cloud solution offerings.
  • Technical infrastructure knowledge and understanding of virtualized system landscapes is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Customer focused and experience working in international, global, and virtual matrix organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Good team player.
  • Experience with large, multi-national software/IT organizations and demonstrated expertise in S/4HANA Cloud (e.g., through software Sales/Presales, Solution Management, or Consulting roles) with good knowledge of IaaS infrastructure.
  • Experience working with the SAP partner ecosystem, especially Global Strategic Technology Partners (HPE, Dell, Lenovo).
  • Experience working with very large customers in Industry segments like Restricted Industries, Utilities, and Public sector.
  • Experience in SaaS/IaaS models and working with large cloud providers.

RISE Private Edition, Customer Data Center (CDC) Option is one of three deployment models (others are SAP DC & Hyperscalers) catering to the customer segment with unique requirements of Data Resiliency & Residency, Security & compliance needs that are mandated by their government or Industry, adhere to national security standards and for those customers who own DC assets and would like to continue to leverage this.

Highlights of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition, Customer Data Center (CDC) Option are:

  • Built on customer provided data center so organizations can run core SAP applications in the cloud on their premise.
  • Built on the same SAP reference architecture as the other Cloud ERP RISE deployments models like Hyperscaler & SAP DC deployment models.
  • Provides access to all new product innovations from SAP including Business AI.
  • SAP provides built-in operations and management capabilities, leading to efficient operations and effective management of the customer’s landscape.
  • Private cloud built for mission critical operations with no trade off on performance, integration, security, failover and disaster recovery.

The GTM Lead will be part of the Global Cloud ERP RISE organization within the Cloud ERP RISE PECDC team, bringing the RISE PE CDC deployment model to customers in their respective regions/MUs.
