The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused team member to join the SAP Asia Pacific Cybersecurity Compliance Advisory team as a Cyber Security Compliance Advisor. This role requires independent work, ownership as a subject matter expert, and managing a steep learning curve in a dynamic environment.

The Asia Pacific Cybersecurity Compliance Advisory team drives strategy and planning jointly with customers, advocating for them on security, privacy, and compliance topics, including AI, based on their business strategy. Our objective is to ensure customer satisfaction with SAP cloud solutions from selection to renewal. We support Go-To-Market activities, act as trusted advisors, and consolidate expertise across SAP and 3rd party solutions.

Expectations and Tasks

Security, privacy, and compliance are paramount for our customers investing in Cloud business applications, platforms, and infrastructure. The successful applicant will support sales and customer engagement teams, as well as the SAP cloud business, by building trust with customers regarding their security, privacy, and compliance needs. Key tasks include:

• Serve as an advisor to key customer technology and business stakeholders on security, privacy, and compliance topics, establishing trust-based relationships through active engagement and collaboration.
• Lead customer discussions, presentations, and workshops on SAP’s security, privacy, and compliance standards for both cloud and hybrid solutions, including AI.
• Provide expert support for responses to customer and partner questions, questionnaires, and risk assessments on security, privacy, and compliance topics, including AI.
• Identify and manage cyber security compliance risks related to sales, customer accounts, and the South Korea market.
• Support Field Legal and other commercial teams on cyber security topics.
• Coordinate closely with internal product and corporate security and compliance teams to act as a subject matter expert, facilitating compliance and managing customer escalations.
• Apply and communicate comprehensive knowledge of relevant and continuously evolving security and privacy regulations and frameworks in South Korea, with a focus on Regulated Industry.
• Educate SAP customers, partners, and internal teams on important security, privacy, and compliance aspects of SAP Cloud, including AI, through regular interaction and creation of scalable digital assets.

Education And Qualifications / Skills And Competencies

• Executive Presence: Must have business communication skills, comfortable presenting to C-level executives and board members.
• Cloud Competence: Strong working knowledge of security and compliance considerations of cloud and hybrid environments.
• Lifelong Learner: Passion for self-development to gain in-depth understanding of the SAP security strategy and solution portfolio, regulatory requirements, industry trends, and executive presence.
• Business-grade fluency in written and spoken Korean language is essential and non-negotiable.

Work Experience

• Good experience in cyber security or related technical and compliance domains, especially working with or in Public Sector and Regulated Industry.
• Broad knowledge of SAP solutions across the portfolio preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud security and compliance including AI preferred.
• CISSP, CCSP, CRISC or other major cyber security-related certification preferred.
