What You'll Do as an AI Developer
As an AI Developer, you will play a key role in building innovative AI-powered applications designed to solve complex business challenges. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing AI-powered applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol.
- Taking end-to-end responsibility for the development, testing, performance, security, scalability, and user experience of AI applications, from initial prototyping to final production deployment.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate AI capabilities into existing applications and workflows.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest AI trends and tools, and proactively recommending their adoption at SAP.
What You Bring
We are looking for candidates with a strong foundation and practical experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- 4+ years of IT experience.
Must Have Skills
- Programming skills in Python
- Expertise in developing AI-powered applications
- Large Language Models (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, LLaMA)
- Agentic AI concepts and protocols (Model Context Protocol, Agent-to-Agent protocol)
- Machine Learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
Nice To Have Skills
- Knowledge of LLM architectures
- Lifecycle management for AI models (training, validation, deployment, and monitoring)
- DevOps / AIOps practices
