Adoption & Consumption Business Intelligence Analyst Intern at SAP

The SAP Internship Experience Program (iXp) offers university students purposeful career opportunities. As an Adoption & Consumption Business Intelligence Analyst Intern, you will:

  • Gain hands-on experience in the creation and further development of dashboards and reports, primarily utilizing SAP Analytics Cloud or comparable Business Intelligence tools.
  • Collaborate extensively with a diverse range of internal stakeholders, learning to structure and translate complex business requirements into effective analytics solutions.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis, derive critical insights, and prepare compelling presentations tailored for various internal teams.
  • Contribute significantly to the automation of reporting and analytics processes, thereby enhancing operational efficiency in daily tasks.

What You'll Bring

We are looking for a proactive, persistent, and curious individual who is passionate about innovative projects and lifelong learning. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Enrollment as a master student in a quantitative field such as computer science, business informatics, economics, or a related discipline.
  • Initial experience with analytics and reporting tools, with a preference for SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms within a business context.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including hands-on experience with pivot tables, advanced formulas, and effective data visualization techniques.
  • Familiarity with scripting or query languages like SQL or Python is advantageous but not strictly required.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are essential, along with confident communication skills in German.
  • A proactive, well-organized, and collaborative team player mindset with a strong desire for continuous learning and professional growth.

Adoption & Consumption Practices and Platform

This team is responsible for the end-to-end management of business practices like solution adoption planning, demand generation, and renewal risk management. They define infrastructure for customer-facing colleagues, manage business requirements for systems, processes, and analytics in collaboration with internal IT, and introduce innovative instruments using technologies like Artificial Intelligence to customer success management teams.
