About the AI Audit & Regulatory Reviews Manager Role

As an AI Audit & Regulatory Reviews Manager at Santander, you will be crucial in our strategic ambition to become an AI-First bank. You will lead the coordination of AI-related audits, regulatory inspections, and second-line reviews, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and well-governed responses across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit & Regulatory Management: Coordinate internal and external audits related to AI, manage regulatory reviews and supervisory requests, and coordinate 2LoD reviews involving Compliance, Risk, or Model teams.
• Execution & Continuous Improvement: Prepare audit and regulatory materials, evidence, and responses. Lead remediation action plans and track follow-up activities. Identify recurring issues, emerging risks, and opportunities to strengthen the AI GRC framework.

Education

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or similar. (Required)

Professional Experience

• More than 10 years of experience in internal audit, supervision, compliance, or risk management.
• Direct exposure to regulatory inspections is highly valued.

Hard Skills

• Knowledge of financial services regulation and AI governance and control models. (Required)

Soft Skills

• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
