Senior Process Engineer and Technical Manager

About the Role

SANOVO TECHNOLOGY GROUP is seeking an experienced Technical Manager with operational and managerial responsibilities for 9 employees to join our growing Engineering Department. You will report directly to the Managing Director and play a key role in defining and driving the company’s technical strategy. You will be the main technical reference for plant design activities, ensuring efficient execution, high technical standards, and alignment with organizational objectives. This includes managing and coordinating the engineering team, focusing on their development and mentoring for professional growth in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

In collaboration with Project Management, Sales, and After-Sales, your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and actively contributing to plant design (pasteurization, heat exchange, product treatment, CIP).
• Performing and validating essential engineering calculations (heat transfer, piping/component sizing, mass & energy balances, hygienic design, food-grade compliance).
• Reviewing and approving complete P&IDs, ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance.
• Supporting R&D activities for new machines and innovative technological solutions.
• Contributing to the standardization of technical solutions and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Food Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in designing food or process plants, ideally in the liquid food sector.
• Proven management experience, with a desire to develop management skills further.
• Strong operational expertise in liquid processing plant design, including heat transfer, thermodynamic calculations, piping and component sizing, P&IDs, and hygienic design standards.
• Proficiency in CAD (2D/3D), engineering calculation tools, and simulation software.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative approach, strong problem-solving attitude, technical vision, and commitment to quality.
