About the role

Product Designer

Sanofi is seeking a Product Designer to join their Hybrid team in Paris. This role is crucial in realizing the vision of providing world-class user experiences globally for Sanofi products and ecosystems. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of UI/UX designers to craft and deliver product designs that align with and extend the 'One Sanofi Experience and Design' across all devices for patients, customers, and staff.

About the Role

You have a passion for consumers and users, strong communication skills, and the ability to focus on both high-level experience initiatives and critical details. You are comfortable presenting and articulating design philosophy, principles, and reasoning with data to all levels of teams. You will partner with Product and Engineering teams to develop amazing user experiences. You must be detail-oriented, responsive, flexible, and able to succeed in an open and collaborative peer environment. Top-notch Product Design skills, and a Human-Centered Design process and methodologies, are a must.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fluency and experience in the design thinking process.
  • Help drive and deliver product design with the unified user experience in collaboration with colleagues, business, and technology; respond to organizational changes as they occur.
  • Integrate Design within the Consumer Experience and digital development process and be an advocate for design within Digital, partner organizations, and stakeholder groups.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product design and experience for Sanofi Digital, including continual improvement and innovation.
  • Drive design operational and execution excellence, while leading creative and holistic thinking at scale across diverse product releases and platforms.
  • Ensure CX Design brings the best creative thinking to the product/business/customer with consistency and within committed timeframes.
  • Work closely with direct and indirect team members to define, document, and maintain our overall user experience strategy, rollout, and maintenance for Sanofi products and digital solutions.
  • Evangelize and share best practices in striving to realize and achieve the “Sanofi One Experience and Design.”
  • Apply user-centric design measurement criteria and tests to ensure the User Experience delivers positive results.
  • Document product design standards, specifications, and patterns across products systemically.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and tool implementation to support those processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Design, HCI, or related field. Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • 2+ years of UI design experience.
  • Experience in healthcare or life sciences domain is a plus.
  • Dynamic design portfolio that shows your design process and shipped products is a must.
  • Demonstrated holistic and systems thinking approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with iterative design sprints and lean, Agile development processes.
  • Solid Product Design skills and Human-Centered design methods in practice that meet user needs and business goals.

  • Experience sketching, concept creation, and wireframing, producing IA, sitemaps, and user flows, with tappable/clickable rapid design prototypes, and visual/brand design.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate positions, and advocate designs.
