About the Role

Sanford Health is one of the largest and fastest-growing not-for-profit health systems in the United States. The Search Engine Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing and managing the overall SEM strategy to increase online visibility and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Media Strategists to develop SEM campaigns.
  • Improve search activities via analysis, A/B testing, and experimentation.
  • Conduct ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.
  • Research competitor advertising keywords and links.
  • Define and report key performance indicators and metrics.
  • Utilize SEO data to optimize SEM and PPC campaigns.
  • Collaborate with web and content teams to drive quality traffic and ROI.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field along with a minimum of 3 years of professional SEM experience.

  • Certification in Google Ads is required.
  • Experience with Search Ads 360, Google, and Bing PPC campaigns.
  • Knowledge of bid management, call tracking, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and make evidence-based decisions.
