About The Role

The Specialist, CARM - Market Data Administration role sits within a centralized team that collaborates with multiple business units across S&P Global. The focus is on strategy, negotiation, administration, and relationship management with third parties for internal use and redistribution of content and services.

The Impact: This role supports the Finance & Administration pillar by tracking, reporting, processing invoices, and managing licenses for third party content relationships. Using best practices and enterprise thinking, the team acquires data and manages vendor relationships for S&P Global.

Responsibilities

  • Record and reconcile market data invoice information in the inventory tracking system.
  • Validate and process vendor invoices using Optimize Spend and internal A/P systems.
  • Create Purchase Orders as needed and monitor vendor inquiries.
  • Input contract information into Optimize Spend and track payment statuses.
  • Establish relationships with Finance, Accounts Payable, and other stakeholders.
  • Work with internal teams for workflow improvements and better documentation.
  • Process requests for changes in licensed services as business needs change.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Market Data Administration and MIS reporting.
  • Experience with Vendor Management systems; Ariba and Oracle preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, Automate, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
  • Ability to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent customer focus, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities.
