About The Role

The Index Manager Multi-Asset Wealth Benchmarks at S&P Global oversees a diverse portfolio of high-profile indices including equities, fixed income, commodities derivatives, and digital wealth. This role requires working closely with Product Management, R&D, Technology, Governance, and Operations to ensure the day-to-day accuracy of indices.

This position focuses on Wealth Benchmarks while offering flexibility to work on a broader range of indices. You will engage in global projects, present recommendations to index committees, and act as a subject matter expert.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and calculate S&P and Dow Jones branded indices.
• Conduct analytical research and adjust data per index rules.
• Execute index rebalances and communicate changes to clients.
• Participate in index committees and present analyses.
• Manage key relationships and collaborate across teams.
• Oversee multiple projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Train employees on index management best practices.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree with 2-4 years of experience, excellent analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, SQL and programming (Python, VBA, R), and a solid understanding of global financial markets. Advanced degrees and experience with futures, options, and proprietary index engines are preferred.
