Job Description

The Principal Engineer, VLSI Design Engineering will design, develop, modify, and evaluate chip architecture and circuit structures for high performance NAND flash memory and advanced 3-dimensional NAND memories.

• Use HSPICE, PRIMESIM, and VERILOG simulations.
• Perform silicon evaluation once available.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

This role involves feasibility studies for high performance NAND flash and involves evaluating new process technologies for design and device improvements. Collaboration across teams and troubleshooting complex problems are key.

Qualifications

• MS or BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in non-volatile memory design, especially NAND flash memory cell operation.
• Strong device design background and process evaluation experience.
• Self-motivated; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven team player with strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication along with strong interpersonal skills are required.
