About the role
Major Responsibilities
The CPD Registration Assistant provides essential administrative support to administrators and faculty members. This includes managing paperwork for new faculty setup, running faculty loads, setting up daily schedules, supporting textbook adoptions, ordering supplies, and processing EPAFs and leave forms, grades, and class rolls. The role involves daily interaction with students, administrators, various departments, visitors, staff, and faculty.
Key Duties
- Entering student data for new, transition, and current students.
- Maintaining various computer-based records and files.
- Creating classes and assisting with course substitution forms.
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings and room reservations for Faculty, Advisory Board, Job Fair, Information Sessions, and New Student Orientations.
- Recording and transcribing meeting minutes.
- Collaborating with Department Chairs and Division Operations Coordinators on class cancellations, development of class schedules, and catalog revisions.
- Preparing and processing requisitions and invoices, and performing Banner entry.
- Maintaining affiliation agreements, career cluster six-year plans, and completing ad hoc projects.
- Performing general office duties such as typing letters, memos, substitute forms, and reports, including state reporting.
- Processing P-card statements and maintaining P-card records and expenditures.
- Coordinating travel arrangements, hotel, and parking reimbursements.
Additional Responsibilities
- Collecting and processing end-of-course folders.
- Ordering inventory supplies and submitting expenses.
- Coordinating facilities for classroom use, including maintenance requests.
- Ordering exams.
- Working with the Business Office as required, including attending training.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Proctoring as needed and assisting with recruiting development needs.
Required/Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:
- Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of specialized or technical training beyond high school.
- Required Experience: Three years of office, clerical, or administrative support experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred Experience: Three years of experience including one or more years in a higher education environment.

- Remote Work Opportunities: The duties of this position require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location during unrestricted operations with very limited or no opportunity for remote work arrangements.
