Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to operating systems (Windows, macOS), office applications, and business software.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory and other identity management systems.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and software deployments to ensure security and optimal performance.
- Document technical procedures, solutions, and user guides to maintain comprehensive knowledge bases.
- Assist with IT asset management, including tracking inventory and managing equipment lifecycle from procurement to disposal.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on projects and initiatives to improve IT infrastructure and services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in a desktop support or IT helpdesk role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic network troubleshooting.
- Experience with Active Directory user and computer management.
- Knowledge of hardware components and peripheral installation/configuration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
