What Your Day Looks Like

The Jr. Design Coordinator supports the Nina Trim wholesale division and the VP of Design. The role involves assisting with customized trim requests, digital illustration/pattern templates, sampling tool coordination, and cross-team collaboration to keep projects on track and support design and production.

Principal Responsibilities

• Assist VP of Design in developing new collections and custom trim programs.
• Create customizable pattern templates using digital renderings for presentations.
• Support pattern and color trials with vendors ensuring accurate records.
• Update digital sample tools for current patterns and customization options.
• Coordinate with Sample Department, Purchasing, and vendors on order tracking.
• Proof production information and maintain organized project files and timelines.
• Support cross-functional communication and document new pattern specifications.
• Collaborate with Creative/Marketing, Sampling, Purchasing, and other teams.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, remote role, preferably with candidates based in MA or RI. Occasional flexibility is required to support vendor communication across time zones.

Requirements - Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in textiles, design, or a related field (preferred).
• 4+ years of related experience in product development, project coordination, or design.
• Strong skills in graphic design and digital illustration.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of textiles, color, and design processes is an asset.
• Collaborative, flexible, and supportive of both creative and logistical efforts.
