Position Summary
As an Engineer I, you will lead optimization efforts to create new manufacturing system logic, aiming to improve system performance and reduce costs. This role involves managing multiple semiconductor manufacturing software applications and improving system reliability through configuration optimization and pre-task plan release management.
Role And Responsibilities
- Lead the optimization effort on creating new manufacturing system logic to improve system performance and reduce costs.
- Manage multiple semiconductor manufacturing software applications, including Material Control System (MCS), Master Control Processor (MCP), and internal system applications.
- Improve the reliability and sustainability of systems through configuration optimization and pre-task plan release management.
- Configure all Fab Process Tool equipment and devices and maintain system user interface inside the system for tool automation.
- Adopt new industry technologies to innovate how engineers sustain operations.
- Plan preventative maintenance activities and provide awareness of system performance.
- Provide 24/7 on-call system operation support and troubleshoot for any system issues within the Automated Material Handling System.
- Work inside Fab Cleanroom Environment for system operation and hardware troubleshooting, training technicians and operators on System Operation.
- Collaborate closely with support and development engineers in Global Headquarters in South Korea and System software vendors on patch deployment (upgrades).
- Host conference calls with Global Headquarters in South Korea to collaborate with HQ Korean System Engineers.
- Create standard operation procedures and technical documentation for best practices.
- Plan Capital Projects and go through the investment process.
- Create ARB (Architecture Review Board) materials for making investments in new servers.
Skills And Qualifications
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship involving the following:
- Unix and Linux system administration
- Server Architectures
- Programming languages: Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript
- Development tool knowledge: React.js, .NET, Node.js, and Docker
- Oracle SQL
- CI/CD knowledge: CodeCommit, GitHub, GitLab, and Jenkins
- Jira, Confluence

- Agile development with Scrum
