About the Role

As a Security Operations Engineer II, you will join the Security Operations Team, collaborating with a global team to identify and mitigate risks, monitor and respond to security events, and act as an incident responder. You will also create and maintain runbooks, assist with automations and process improvements, and work closely with a diverse group of analysts and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and analyze alerts.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents and lead incident response.
• Manage post-incident activities and develop security policies.
• Provide clear security guidance for cloud and enterprise infrastructure.
• Collaborate on building security services and integrations.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience in security incident response.
• Proficiency in Python for programming.
• Strong reasoning and documentation skills.
• Experience with SIEM tools and log reviews.
• Ability to work flexible hours (5 AM – 1 PM IST) and be on call.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Risk Management or related field.
• Experience with security frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture/security (AWS, GCP).
• Relevant security certifications.
