Role Overview
The Senior Specialist Solution Engineer role is designed for a technically-minded and courageous communicator with a startup mentality. This role is part of the Emerging Business Unit focusing on Partner Ecosystem Management and Channel Revenue Solutions. The position requires subject matter expertise, creative solutioning, and a track record in aligning innovative strategies with technology solutions within complex accounts.
Product Overview
- Salesforce Partner Ecosystem Management (PEM): Streamline partner onboarding, engagement, and productivity with a unified platform.
- Salesforce Channel Revenue Solutions: Automate product-to-cash processes, simplify pricing and quoting, and optimize rebate programs.
Responsibilities
- Perform discovery calls and product demonstrations.
- Support technical architecture meetings and asset creation.
- Develop demo components, technical guides, and workshop programming.
- Evangelize solutions at events and internally with sales teams.
- Stay updated on product innovations and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years experience in Solution Engineering or related roles.
- Deep understanding of the Salesforce Platform.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Salesforce Admin 201).
- Prior experience as a solution/sales engineer in CRM or similar tech.
