Our Enterprise Business team focuses on collaborating with our most strategic customers and organizations employing over 10,000 individuals. Role Overview: Named Account Executive, State and Local Government

As a Named Account Executive, State and Local Government, you will engage with both existing customers and new leads to sell the entire Salesforce Customer 360 platform. You will cultivate positive, trusted relationships with key team members and C-suite decision-makers within your assigned patch, becoming adept at demonstrating and helping customers realize significant value from their Salesforce investments.

You will leverage your sales expertise to develop opportunities through a combination of warm leads and strategic whitespace prospecting.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive exceptional customer satisfaction at assigned accounts.
  • Develop and drive the overall long-term account strategy, aligning with customer business objectives.
  • Coordinate internal Salesforce resources effectively to meet customer business needs.
  • Perform comprehensive account planning for assigned accounts, ensuring strategic alignment with Prime and Cloud sales resources.
  • Articulate the Salesforce value proposition for both existing and new customers.
  • Drive significant growth within an existing assigned account.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10 years of full cycle sales experience, with at least 5 years in Enterprise SaaS Sales.
  • Proven ability to manage one large key account effectively.
  • Strong capability to strategize and collaborate within a large extended team.
  • Experience will be evaluated based on core competencies, including extracurricular leadership, military experience, volunteer roles, and work history.
  • Education sales experience is a plus.
