Role Overview
The Data Analytics Analyst/Manager for the Cloud Success Insights Team is a crucial individual contributor role responsible for delivering data-driven actionable insights and strategic recommendations. This position empowers Cloud Leaders to drive various programs within Customer Success, providing dedicated analytics support to a specific cloud team and collaborating extensively with different teams within CSG.
Candidates should demonstrate versatility in tackling a diverse range of problem statements, encompassing in-depth analysis, strategic planning, forecasting, data visualization, and effective presentation. A proactive attitude towards embracing new challenges is essential. This role offers high visibility and delivers significant business impact, requiring timely responses to questions raised by senior leaders, sometimes necessitating a flexible working approach outside standard hours.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent proven experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on core competencies for the role.
- A Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or a related field with 8+ years experience, preferably in a data analytics team.
- Extensive experience in writing complex database queries in SQL.
- Expertise in one or more popular visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- A curious mindset enabling deep dives to fetch insights from data.
- Excellent skill in preparing Executive-level stories and narratives.
- Demonstrated experience creating and presenting data, dashboards, and analysis to leadership, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to executives.
- Ability to quickly learn new tools within the Analytics space.
- An awesome team-player who can serve as a mentor for junior analysts.
- Assumes full responsibility for assigned projects from start to finish.
- Proven ability in Stakeholder Management.
Desired Skills
- Direct experience (2+ years) in data engineering.
- Tableau certification (e.g., Desktop Specialist/Professional) is a significant plus.
- Experience working with cloud data sources.
- Hands-on experience in advanced analytics, including predictive modeling and machine learning using Python/R.
- Salesforce Product Certification.

In the United States, compensation includes a base salary range of $99,400 - $186,300 annually, determined by factors such as location, job level, knowledge, skills, and experience. Roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and comprehensive benefits like time off, medical, dental, vision, mental health support, paid parental leave, life and disability insurance, 401(k), and an employee stock purchasing program.
