Vertical Alignment
This Account Executive - Tableau role will involve selling into accounts within either the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Industries OR the Consumer Business Services Industries. The Consumer Business Services sector includes Travel, Transportation, Hospitality, Professional Services, Architecture, Construction, and Real Estate.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospecting and assessing sales to move a large number of transactions simultaneously.
- Engage the partner network throughout the global ecosystem.
- Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction.
- Assist with the development and execution of overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives.
- Coordinate internal resources including product support, customer success, and sales engineering to meet customer business needs.
- Assist with account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with other sales resources (Salesforce Core AE’s, Prime AE’s, Cloud AE’s, etc.) to ensure strategic alignment.
- Manage sophisticated sales-cycles and present to C-level executives the value proposition of the Tableau platform.
- Define and execute territory / account sales plans for assigned territory and then meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial Role: Average of 5-10 years of full cycle sales experience, with at least 3 years in the field.
- Enterprise Role: 10+ years of full cycle sales experience, with at least 5 years in Enterprise Sales.
- Proven experience in managing existing customer accounts to drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities, as well as acquiring new logo accounts OR focusing exclusively on new logos (Hunter role).
- Ability to build and deliver impactful presentations to your customers.
- Ability to strategize effectively with a large extended team.
- Experience will be evaluated based on core competencies, including extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, and work experience.
