About the Online Assistant Role at Sainsbury's
Working in our stores offers a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, especially during peak seasons. As an Online Assistant, you'll be crucial in providing a joyful shopping experience for our online customers, ensuring they receive everything they shop at Sainsbury's for.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be above the school-leaver age in your country (UK).
- Aged at least 18 if shifts cover hours earlier than 6 am or later than 11 pm.
- Possess Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and selecting high-quality products on the shop floor for online orders.
- Providing brilliant substitutions when products are out of stock.
- Utilising a digital handset for efficient route planning, product selection, and time management.
- Handling customer queries and processing orders behind the scenes.
- Assisting with loading vans for Home Delivery Drivers.
- Proactively helping customers on the shop floor and answering questions.
- Building product knowledge to offer recommendations.
- Working flexibly across the store as required.
