Product Manager - Security Products

SailPoint is actively seeking a passionate, driven, and focused Product Manager to join our identity security products team. We are dedicated to building the next generation of identity security observability and response products, providing security teams with real-time visibility, context, and automation across the entire identity ecosystem. Based in our Pune, India location, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing this vision. You will collaborate closely with our Principal PMs in North America, as well as partners in Engineering and UX, to deliver high-impact capabilities that drive significant customer value, improve security outcomes, and strengthen SailPoint’s leadership position in the identity security space.

This position demands a unique blend of strategic, out-of-the-box thinking combined with practical, hands-on experience and exceptional communication skills. A strong technical understanding of enterprise software customer IT environments and rapidly evolving security and compliance technologies is also essential. The Product Manager will engage with internal and external stakeholders, including peer product managers from other lines of business, to help define the vision and execute on delivering value that will be leveraged across SailPoint’s product portfolio. Candidates must be comfortable navigating complex and ambiguous challenges and thrive in a fluid, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all areas of the product lifecycle, from gathering requirements to launch readiness.
  • Drive product innovation and opportunities by leveraging feedback from internal stakeholders, partners, and customers, alongside market data.
  • Engage with stakeholders to scope work, understand impact, and gain consensus.
  • Work closely with architects and engineering to develop, prioritize, and manage the product backlog within a lean/agile environment.
  • Maintain the product roadmap and coordinate the adoption of deliverables with other product lines and our partner alliance team.
  • Help define success metrics and measure the impact and results of new deliverables. Gather production feedback to prioritize items in the product backlog.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a product management role within B2B SaaS, preferably in cybersecurity, IT operations, or identity management domains.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across distributed global teams, bridging time zones and cultures, to plan, develop, refine, and launch successful enterprise software products.
  • Experience with open platform connectivity technologies such as web and micro-services is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate problems, solutions, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A mindset that thoughtfully blends customer empathy, systems thinking, and pragmatic execution.

Education

BA/BS in a business or technical field is required. An MBA is a plus.

Travel

This position requires approximately 15% travel.
