Job Description
As a Compensation Analyst at SailPoint, you will support global compensation programs with program administration, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement. This fully remote role may require occasional travel to headquarters in Austin, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Benchmarking & Market Data: Analyze survey data, maintain salary ranges, and track market trends.
- Market Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analyses for existing and new roles across locations.
- Consultation & Support: Advise managers and stakeholders on compensation recommendations.
- Program Administration: Support global base pay, incentive, and equity programs using Workday.
- Annual Review Support: Assist in merit, bonus, and equity planning processes.
- Bonus Tracking: Calculate bonus amounts and prepare summaries for review.
- Compensation Inquiries: Address queries using ServiceNow, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with compensation-related laws and regulations.
- Project Participation: Contribute to compensation-related projects as needed.
Path to Success
First 30 Days: Engage stakeholders, learn compensation philosophy, begin using Workday, and integrate culturally.
First 90 Days: Build relationships, master compensation processes, gain benchmarking knowledge, and contribute to analyses.
First 6 Months: Provide strategic insights, execute tasks independently, generate analysis insights, and engage in projects.
Requirements
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Lookups, Pivot Tables, If/Sumif functions)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with compensation surveys, preferably Radford
- Experience in supporting annual focal or merit cycles
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to continuous learning and growth
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, or related field with 2 years of experience. Experience with the Workday Compensation module and global compensation practices is preferred.
Reporting & Stakeholders
Reports to Manager, Global Compensation and collaborates with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Stock Administration, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and Business Leaders.
