Job Overview

SAIC has an immediate need for a Test Engineer to support the U.S. Army Tactical Aviation & Ground Munitions team located onsite at Redstone Arsenal/Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

  • Support ground and live fire test events for missile systems ensuring safety, accuracy, and mission success.
  • Oversee live fire events with real-time diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with test range personnel to schedule ranges for events.
  • Manage ammunition logistics using inventory tracking systems for missile shipments.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into technical requirements.

Required Education & Skills

  • BS degree and two (2) years of experience.
  • Experience in Acquisition Lifecycle Systems Engineering process across hardware, software, and integration domains.
  • Skilled in analyzing and verifying requirements.
  • Able to translate requirements into testable event objectives.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite.

Clearance

Must have an active Interim Security DOD Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
