Original Job Summary
Test Engineer QA Controller
SAIC is seeking Test Engineer QA Controllers to join the Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository System (MARS) Advanced Development Operations (DevOps) and Sustainment Support (ADOS) program. This role provides on-site technical and administrative support to facilitate operations of critical MARS infrastructure and services.
The primary focus is on providing System/Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and modernize MARS.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed testing and quality assurance activities for MARS software and systems.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts based on the MARS framework.
- Execute tests, document results, and track defects in compliance with DIA standards.
- Collaborate with development teams to communicate test findings and suggest improvements.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices.
- Participate in developing and implementing automation testing specific to MARS needs.
Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- One of the following certifications: CND, CompTIA Network+, CEH, Cloud+, PenTest+, CompTIA Security+, SSCP, or CCSP.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering plus 5+ years relevant experience (or 4+ years in lieu of degree).
- Proficiency in developing/executing test plans, conducting quality assurance checks, and managing defect tracking.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, quality control processes, and test management tools.
