Senior Systems Engineer at SAIC
SAIC has an immediate need for a Senior Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Army Tactical Aviation & Ground Munitions team located onsite at Redstone Arsenal/Huntsville, AL.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with multidisciplinary technical efforts optimizing performance of launcher systems.
- Ensure technical integrity throughout the Acquisition Lifecycle Systems Engineering process, including hardware, software, and integration domains during developmental testing and system validation.
- Translate complex engineering data into strategic program decisions while managing dynamic schedules and coordinating across diverse teams to mitigate risks and drive mission success.
Required Education & Experience:
BS degree with fourteen (14) years of experience.
Required Skills:
- In-depth systems engineering knowledge with emphasis on hardware, software, and integration.
- Experience in the Acquisition Lifecycle Systems Engineering process during developmental testing and validation.
- Skilled in analyzing and verifying requirements.
- Able to translate requirements into testable event objectives.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Required Clearance:
Must have an active Interim Security DOD Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
