Original Job Summary
Overview
SAIC is seeking a Program Control Associate to support the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on multiple projects of varying contract types, sizes, complexities, and risk levels.
Responsibilities
- Report detailed project information and analyze financial data.
- Prepare weekly/monthly status reports with burn rate and LOF data.
- Develop spend plans and maintain Estimate at Completion (EACs).
- Participate in annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and monthly estimates.
- Analyze and reconcile cash flow, profitability, invoicing, and costs on hold.
- Submit purchase requisitions and monitor subcontractor costs and invoices.
- Support new business proposals, project projections, and programmatic ad hoc requests.
Education & Qualifications
Associates degree with 2+ years or Bachelor's with 1+ year in a related field, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business. 4+ years of experience may substitute for a degree.
Requirements
- Understanding of financial management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Familiarity with government contracting and contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M, etc.).
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Computer Skills
Proficiency with MS tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables. Familiarity with CostPoint and Cognos Workspace Advance is preferred.
