Overview

SAIC is seeking an experienced Network Systems Engineer to provide technical support to our program based in Chantilly. This role involves systems services administration, server provisioning, network integration, repository management, network-attached storage management, hardware administration, and document and compliance management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage systems services and server provisioning.
  • Integrate and administer network devices and NAS systems.
  • Oversee hardware administration including KVM switches and terminal servers.
  • Administer Linux systems and virtualized environments (VMWare, KVM).
  • Manage power, environmental hardware and compliance documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering/technology or equivalent experience.
  • Active TS/SCI and Polygraph clearance required.
  • Expertise in configuring and administering Juniper and Cisco devices.
  • Experience with QNAP and Synology NAS administration.
  • Experience with Linux systems and network infrastructure hardware.
  • Competency in virtualized environments setup and administration.
