Logistics Analyst and Configuration Manager at SAIC
SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst and Configuration Manager for an opportunity in North Charleston, SC.
Logistics Duties and Responsibilities
This role performs life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems. It controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement. The candidate may plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving to production, monitor inventory, and develop raw material and scheduling requirements based on engineering specifications and production schedules. Additionally, the role involves ensuring the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes, including maintenance, supply, transportation, and overall logistics planning.
Configuration Management (CM) Duties and Responsibilities
This role supports product design changes affecting the overall system and assists in documenting and tracking system development modifications. Responsibilities include ensuring configuration identification, preparing deviations and waivers when specifications cannot be met, reviewing document change requests and associated drawings, maintaining databases, and submitting engineering changes for review. The candidate will also prepare configuration verification audit record sheets for assigned programs.
Position Requirements
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of related experience (additional years accepted in lieu of degree). Must be willing to work on site and be a US Citizen.
