Logistics Analyst and Configuration Manager

SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst and Configuration Manager for an opportunity in North Charleston, SC.

Logistics Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems.
• Controls the efficient flow of goods, services and information to meet customer requirements.
• Plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of materials from receiving to production.
• Develops raw material and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules.
• Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes.
• Includes program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection and material management.

Configuration Management Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports product design changes and assesses overall system impacts.
• Documents and tracks all aspects of system development, modifications, and risks.
• Ensures configuration identification with complete design release documents.
• Prepares deviations and waivers for cases where specifications cannot be met.
• Reviews document change requests and associated drawings for accuracy and signatures.
• Structures and maintains databases, submission of engineering changes and record keeping.
• Prepares configuration verification audit record sheets for assigned programs.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of related experience, additional experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Must be willing to work on-site.
• US Citizenship is required.
