IT Asset Management Logistics Analyst

Overview

SAIC, a leading provider of systems development & deployment, targeting & intelligence analysis, systems engineering & integration, and training capabilities for the Intelligence Community, is seeking a dedicated IT Asset Management Logistics Analyst. This role involves government property administration, recording and tracking IT assets, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of IT assets with detailed status updates.
• Process requests for IT equipment and software with proper documentation.
• Coordinate procurement, deployment, and retirement of IT assets using ITSM software.
• Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams.
• Support internal and external audits for IT asset management.
• Handle shipping, receiving, packaging, labeling and tracking of IT assets.
• Assist with disposal and recycling of obsolete IT assets.
• Adhere to inventory control procedures ensuring compliance with government property regulations.
• Prepare and update government-required reports and maintain audit controls.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, management information systems or equivalent is required. Minimum of 5 years of IT Asset Management experience is preferred. Advanced degrees with relevant experience are considered.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of IT asset lifecycle management principles.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Comfortable researching enterprise IT technologies.
• Certifications such as CITAM or CAMP preferred.
• Experience in government contracting is a plus.

Security Clearance & Location

Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with the required polygraph. Position available in Bethesda, MD or McLean, VA.
