Data Scientist
SAIC has an opportunity for a Data Scientist. The role is remote with travel as needed. Drive internal process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and developing streamlined workflows that reduced manual effort. Partner with internal teams to implement process automation tools and technology solutions, enhancing scalability and reducing operational bottlenecks. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather data, prepare polished presentations and dashboards for FAA customers and internal senior executives. Assist in streamlining recruitment processes by developing efficient reporting systems to track hiring metrics, applications, and candidate progress. Built strong relationships with FAA customers by understanding their unique operational needs and goals, facilitating open communication, and delivering tailored solutions to enhance their operational capabilities and satisfaction. Assist the organization in becoming a trusted partner to FAA clients by engaging in regular meetings, providing timely updates on project milestones, and addressing customer concerns and feedback effectively. Assist in providing data-driven insights and detailed reports to FAA stakeholders to support decision-making and improve program outcomes, establishing the organization as a reliable and forward-thinking partner. Introduced performance measurement frameworks to track and evaluate process effectiveness, generating insights that informed continuous improvement efforts.Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in data analysis, business operations, human, or customer relationship management.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data visualization) or similar analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with experience preparing and delivering professional presentations for senior leadership and non-technical audiences.
- Basic understanding of workforce planning.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
