Job Title: Data Analysis and Battery Testing Electrical Engineer

SAIC is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the US Navy in Crane, IN. The role focuses on data analysis and battery testing, including vibration testing and practical testing methods.

Job Responsibilities

• Support airborne lot testing and space applications.
• Program testing files and assist with vibration testing.
• Gain proficiency in battery test methods including monitoring, switching, circuit protections, wattage management, and time correlation.
• Conduct Big Data analysis to predict failure modes and battery end-of-life.
• Assist analysts with analytic platforms.
• Present findings and processes to team members.

Required Experience and Clearance

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (2+ years) or Master's with 0 years experience.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Interim Secret clearance required at start, with sponsorship available for obtaining a Secret clearance.
• US Citizenship required.

Desired Experience

• Experience with LabView, MatLab, and C++.
• Prior support for DoD and/or NSWC Crane projects.
• Competence in developing data pipelines using Power BI, R, Python, SQL, etc.
• Knowledge of GitHub and Microsoft DevOps for code version control.
• A practical application of physics and electrical engineering skills.
