About the role
Data Analyst
Sage is seeking a Data Analyst to join their growing Data - Europe team, based in Paris La Défense. This hybrid role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with innovative software solutions and play a key role in analyzing and leveraging data to support Sales, Performance, and top management teams across France and internationally. You will combine data analysis, understanding business needs, and producing high-value reporting.
Your Responsibilities
Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Provide actionable insights to support business decisions and strategies.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports and analyses.
Data & Technical Skills
- Exploit existing data sources or contribute to the creation of new data flows.
- Perform SQL queries in SQL databases or Snowflake.
- Work with significant data volumes (millions of lines).
- Collaborate with the Data Factory team on industrialized flows (Snowflake).
Business Collaboration
- Understand the needs of Sales and Performance teams to ask the right data questions.
- Translate business requirements into actionable analyses.
- Challenge requests and propose relevant indicators.
- Participate in data democratization (pedagogy, best practices, documentation).
- Provide integration and support to teams on data products developed by the team.
International Context
- Work within a European environment (France, Spain, Germany).
- Interact in agile/data product squads.
- Contribute to global projects (e.g., standardization of indicators across Europe).
Profile Required
Technical Skills
- Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, and R.
- Comfortable with heterogeneous data environments (multiple CRMs, diverse sources).
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
