AI Team Overview

Sagard is becoming an AI-first organisation. AI is expected to automate low-value work and materially improve how investment decisions are made. We’re hiring a technical, delivery-focused Intern, AI Enablement for a 6-8 month term located in Toronto, Ontario. You'll partner with investment and business teams to discover opportunities, build fast prototypes, and drive adoption.

Compensation

CAD$80,000 per year

What You'll Do

• Develop prompts, workflow automations, and lightweight applications
• Build and support integrations using low-code and high-code tools
• Evaluate third-party tools for fit within our enterprise architecture
• Ensure solutions meet best practices for security, access, and responsible use
• Track outcomes - usage, time saved, feedback - and iterate accordingly
• Monitor AI trends and experiment with emerging capabilities

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (or near completion)
• Hands-on experience building and deploying applications with GenAI tools and LLMs
• Solid fundamentals in Python or TypeScript, APIs, Git, and basic cloud platforms
• Clear communication and facilitation skills, especially with non-technical colleagues
• Comfort working in ambiguity - scrappy, curious, and biased toward “good-enough” over perfect, with a creative approach to problem solving
• A growth mindset and collaborative spirit, with a passion for enabling others, sharing learnings, and fostering a culture of experimentation
