Credit Control Analyst at Safeguard Global

The Role in a Nutshell

The Credit Control Analyst plays a critical role in managing credit risk and ensuring timely collections. This role involves close collaboration with finance, operations, and sales teams. The analyst will interact directly with customers to understand their needs, ensuring their credit fits in with the current risk portfolio. They will assess when it is appropriate to renegotiate payment plans and support business continuity. Additionally, the role requires preparing financial reports and analysis for stakeholders, actively seeking feedback, and driving continuous improvements in credit control processes.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Manage outstanding debt for assigned client base through collections best practices.
  • Follow up on overdue invoices, working with clients to resolve invoice issues or discrepancies.
  • Ensure appropriate action is taken to resolve aged debt and provide weekly status reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure credit and collection policies and procedures are followed.
  • Prepare statements, client status reports, and all relevant information as required.
  • Conduct regular debt review meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Manage customer relationships and respond to internal and external queries in a timely manner.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office software, with a focus on Excel and external portals.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
