Manufacturing Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team at Saelens Corporation. In this role, you will play a key part in programming, optimizing, and improving CNC machining processes. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced CNC Programmer looking to transition into a more engineering-focused position.
Responsibilities
- CNC Programming and Operation: Develop and modify CNC programs for machining operations.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and enhance manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality. Implement improvements to boost productivity and evaluate/select robotic technologies.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with quality control teams ensuring products meet design specifications while troubleshooting issues.
- Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Work with design teams to interpret technical drawings and optimize production during product development.
- Training and Documentation: Train machine operators on CNC procedures and maintain detailed documentation.
- Continuous Learning: Implement new technologies and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Experience in CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages, software, and CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, materials, robotic systems, and automation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to read technical drawings.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field preferred.
