Job Overview

Join SADA, An Insight Company as a Cloud Support Engineer. In this role, you will ensure customers' support issues are handled effectively with a focus on Google Cloud Platform networking services.

Your Mission

You will work with skilled support engineers to deliver expert-level solutions for GCP networking including Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud CDN, Cloud VPN, and more. You will assist in updating knowledge articles, improving the ServiceNow incident management system, and represent SADA as an ambassador to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an escalation point for client technical issues.
  • Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve GCP networking incidents.
  • Collaborate with Google Support and internal teams for resolution.
  • Identify trends and recommend long-term network improvements.
  • Provide technical training and assist process development.
  • Participate in on-call rotations including weekends and after hours.

Expectations & Credentials

  • 10% travel to customer sites and events; 50% customer facing.
  • Ongoing training with orientation and 90-day onboarding.
  • Google Certified Associate Cloud Engineer required; Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification within 120 days.
  • 3+ years cloud networking experience and strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, BGP, DNS).
  • Experience with Linux troubleshooting tools and packet capture tools.
  • Additional skills in scripting, IAC tools and hybrid cloud environments are a plus.
